Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage actor in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next memorable role came from 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she was also a prominent director for popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
