Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw on the lawn inspired her to spend months developing an approach that however, did not paint the selected object onto canvas. This way, the selected subject is transformed into an image. This is especially true with living objects as well as those that are likely to perish like fruit or even humans. The ephemeral nature of her art style is apparent and the only thing that remains of Alexa Meade's work is the photographs. Trompe-l'oeil art is created by combining the two techniques of photographing and painting. This creates a flattened, two dimensional picture. Sometimes, Meade integrates her painted models with the 3-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to engage with the self-created universe. The boundaries between performance, photography, installation and painting is thus broken.
