Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. The most famously known is that she's the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage in 2012. Her prior experience included working as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on both the US House and Senate. Bolduan, as an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress discussions, such as negotiations for raising the federal loan limit as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. Her work on general assignments has included reports on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. In 2007, she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national with CNN Newsource. She provided feature stories and breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She currently reside in New York City with her husband and two children.
