
Jacob Christopher Ortiz (born on 23 January 1975) was an American mixed martial artist. He is also a politician. The current contract he is signed by Combate Americas. Ortiz is famous for his time at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where the former Light Heavyweight champion. He held the title from April 14, 2001 to September 26, 2002. Along with fighters like Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell He was among the sport's first superstars. Ortiz was the ultimate pay-per-view star in 2006, winning his fights against Forrest Griffin and Liddell. Ken Shamrock Ortiz, the director of Punishment Athletics MMA equipment, is also the owner of Punishment Athletics clothing and equipment, both of which is located in Huntington Beach, California.
