AlexAlexandra Morgan Carrasco (American professional soccer player) is an attacking player. She also serves as captain of San Diego Wave FC of National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's professional soccer. From 2018 until 2020, she was a co-captain of the women's national soccer team of America along with Megan Rappinoe. In the months following her graduation in the early years of the University of California, Berkeley and playing for the California Golden Bears, Morgan was selected as the top pick during the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. Morgan made her professional debut at the time and played a major role in the team's win of the league championship. Morgan was 22, at the time, was the youngest player in the national team at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, which the team finished second. In the 2012 London Olympics, she scored the game-winning goal the 123rd minute in the semi-final game against Canada.
